Personality: Roa is typically cold, aloof, and has been described as intimidating. On the surface, Roa cares little for the feelings of others, and denounces, in his own words, trivialities like friendship and camaraderie, believing that such things are lies that people use to their advantage.
Roa has little compunction with hurting anyone who stands in his way. This cold ruthlessness is hinted to have stemmed from some horrible past trauma from Roa's childhood. However, he repeatedly shows that he despises reminiscing about his past, loathing to discuss his history with anyone.
This, however, is all mostly an elaborate facade. While outwardly he is calm and detached, he doggedly disguises his inner feelings of guilt and sadness, having a great deal of difficulty in expressing his true emotions. What few real people who are close to Roa he deeply cherishes, although he has little patience for fools. Despite his coldness, he will not hesitate to do the right thing and help out someone in need, although he does so with a grain of salt.
Often a voice of reason to those around him, he is vastly intelligent, and has a sharp, dry sense of humor. Counterintuitively, when he has no idea what to do in a situation, Roa quickly becomes very flustered and nervous, his default simply to stand frozen and take whatever is happening. In somewhat rare instances, he is capable of opening up, and expresses a kind and gentle heart underneath his cold, crusty exterior.
Despite his calm nature, several powerful people, even buddy monsters, are afraid of him. He can be very frightening, as the look on his victim's faces imply they would never want to get on his bad side. This is often played as a sort of comic relief, with Roa revealing his ability to frighten anybody by closing his eyes and forming a soft, gentle smile which belies the dark, ominous fear hidden in his words. This causes every single person whom he speaks to, even the strongest of monsters, to follow whatever command he would "ask" of them to do.
He is a bit overprotective of Axia, having a rather large soft spot for him. The two get along surprisingly well, Axia being one of the very few people that Roa is routinely sociable and kind with. There is a hinted deeper bond between Axia and Roa, one that is still as-of-yet unknown... Although Roa won't admit it, even to himself, he is very lonely inside.

Appearance: Roa has shoulder length, stylish blonde hair. His bangs cover his forehead, while his face is framed by longer bangs of hair that reach down to his shoulders. The hair on the back of his head is slightly shorter, coming down to his chin, and is a little spiky. He has fair, unblemished skin and aquamarine eyes. He typically wears a dark, long sleeved shirt or thin sweater. In warmer weathers, he will adorn a plain, dark t-shirt. He wears black jeans tucked into knee high, dark combat boots. He has been described as cute and handsome on many occasions, although he is also said to be "cold" looking.
He is of mixed blood, being Swedish in origin with some Japanese blood, courtesy of a genealogy test.
Clothing: Roa is typically found adorning dark jeans tucked into knee high dark combat boots. He usually wears a plain dark shirt or sweater, occasionally with a high collar.
In colder weathers, he will wear a long black coat over top his usual clothes. In more casual settings, he prefers to substitute his jeans for comfortable sweatpants.
